Rematch : le guide du fan de Blue Lock (prix, plateformes, crossplay, comment bien débuter)

Updated September 3, 2026.

Rematch is the 5v5 football game from Paris studio Sloclap, released on June 19, 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, priced around $29.99 and played by more than 6 million people. No fouls, no offside, each player controls a single footballer in third-person view: it is the closest game to the Blue Lock spirit ever released, and the official Rematch x Blue Lock collaboration arrives on September 24, 2026. Here is everything a Blue Lock fan needs to know before jumping in.

Rematch x Blue Lock offer: -10% on Isagi, Bachira, Nagi and Rin jerseys, shorts and figures with code REMATCH, until October 9, 2026. See the Rematch x Blue Lock collection.

What exactly is Rematch?

A Rematch game pits two teams of five, each player controlling a single footballer, goalkeeper included, with short matches and a wall around the pitch: the ball never goes out. It plays like an action game, with dedicated buttons for passing, shooting, tackling, dribbling and sprinting. There is no referee, no foul, no offside. Sloclap, known for Sifu and Absolver, built Rematch around positioning, duels and volleys, exactly what Blue Lock has been showing since chapter 1.

Why Blue Lock fans love Rematch

Since launch, the community has called Rematch "the Blue Lock game we never got". Three reasons. First, controlling a single player: like Isagi, you only see your position, you have to read the game and "devour" space. Then the duels: dribble against tackle, one on one, no fouls possible, the heart of the Neo Egoist League. Finally the character editor, used by thousands of players to recreate Isagi, Nagi or Rin, to the point that Sloclap ended up signing the official collaboration. The guide to recreate them is here: How to make Isagi, Bachira, Nagi and Rin in Rematch.

Getting started: 6 tips for a Blue Lock fan

  1. Do the tutorial and training: first-touch and volley controls need timing, like Isagi's direct shot.
  2. Pick a role, not a position: box striker (Isagi), dribbler (Bachira), pivot who holds the ball (Nagi) or defender who builds play (Rin in the second line). The game rewards specialization.
  3. Don't all chase the ball: in 5v5, the team that keeps one player in defense and one in support wins. That is Blue Lock's 4-1-1.
  4. Learn the volley: shots on the run and headers are the goals that win games, and the most spectacular to record.
  5. Save your Blocks for a hairstyle and a top that look like you, and your Quants for the Blue Lock skins on September 24: how to get the Blue Lock skins in Rematch.
  6. Play with a fixed squad: clubs and voice chat change everything, and lack of coordination is what Rematch punishes most.
